About our team The Driver • Chris lives in rural Scott County near Sikeston, Mo., and comes from a family with a rich racing tradition. His father, James, owned Hall Racing Engines in Charleston, Mo., for nearly a decade. His grandfather, Jim, won dozens of sprint and late model titles before retiring in the 1990s. Chris' uncle Greg won late model events and point titles throughout the late '80s and 1990s, while his cousin Todd competes locally and on national late model series. His uncles John and Jeff and three cousins — Derek, Jeffrey and Jonathan — also have competed on area dirt tracks. Chris is married to Jennifer and has two daughters, Elizabeth and Kaylee. Career history • Since debuting in an open-wheel modified in 1994, Chris has won more than a dozen feature races and has dozens of top-five finishes at tracks across the Midwest and South.
