Chris and the No. 66 Team compete on the late model racing circuit at a variety of oval dirt tracks near his Sikeston, Mo., home, with a focus on tracks in Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee and Arkansas. The team's 2011 car was built by C.J. Rayburn and features a Hall-built engine.

Since his racing career began in an open-wheel modified in 1994 at a track in Pocahontas, Ark., Chris has won more than a dozen feature races to go with dozens of top-five finishes at tracks across the Midwest and South.

Latest news • The 2011 season is complete. Plans for the 2012 season will be determined soon.

Sept. 17 • Racing in the team's final event of the season at I-55 Raceway near Pevely, Mo., Chris finished 10th in his heat race but did not qualify for the night's final event as part of the World of Outlaws Pepsi Nationals.

Aug. 26 • At the MARS World 50 Paducah (Ky.) Raceway, Chris competed in the special World 50 event for late models. His heat race finish dropped him into the B-main, but he did not advance to the feature race.

Aug. 13 • At I-55 Raceway in Missouri, Chris finished fourth in his heat race and started a season-best seventh in the feature race, but he did not finish.

July 30 • At I-55 Raceway near Pevely, Mo., Chris finished 10th in the UMP DIRTcar late model division feature after placing seventh in his heat race.

July 23 • Racing in the UMP DIRTcar late model division at I-55 Raceway near Pevely, Mo., Chris finished 10th in the feature after placing seventh in his heat race.

July 16 • In the UMP DIRTcar late model division at I-55 Raceway near Pevely, Mo., Chris finished 14th in the feature.

July 9 • Competing in the UMP DIRTcar late model division at I-55 Raceway near Pevely, Mo., Chris finished fifth in his heat race. After starting 13th in the A-main, he finished 17th.

July 2 • After two weeks off, the No. 66 Team returned to I-55 Raceway near Pevely, Mo., to compete with the touring UMP Summernationals series. Chris finished fourth in the C-main and advanced to start in the back of the B-main; he finished 14th in that race but did not qualify for the A-main lineup.

June 11 • Chris finished 14th in the UMP DIRTcar late model A-main at I-55 Raceway near Pevely, Mo, after starting 16th.

June 4 • In the No. 66 Team's first trip to Clarksville (Tenn.) Speedway since 2009, Chris won his first heat race of the season to earn an eighth-place start in the A-main. He finished eighth in the 20-lap race, a car-length behind the sixth- and seventh-place finishers.

May 28 • In just the second weekend of racing after several weeks of rain, the No. 66 Team returned to I-55 Raceway near Pevely, Mo., and finished 16th after starting 19th in the super late model A-main.

May 7 • After several weeks of rainouts, the No. 66 Team debuted at I-55 Raceway near Pevely, Mo., in a UMP super late model event. In the heat race, Chris finished fifth. In the feature, a cracked flywheel ended the night after just a couple of laps.
